All titled boats must include all required signatures, lien release if applicable & new buyers required information. See the “How Do I” page for more information. DNR Non-Titled Transfers (ATV’s, Snowmobiles, Boats, ORV & OHM): As required by the DNR, a bill of sale, with the year, make, model & serial number listed & must be signed by all registered owner(s) on record & the new buyer(s). ATV’s, Snowmobiles, ORV’s, OHM’s are never titled in Minnesota. See the “How Do I” page for more information. DNR RENEWALS: To renew your registration, bring in the renewal notice. If you do not have your notice, bring in the registration number along with your ID. If registration is being purchased by someone other than the registered owner you must have one of the following: • The current renewal notice • Or a signed permission slip from the registered owner along with a copy of the registered owners driver’s license or ID • Or a NOTARIZED permission slip.
